Description

Purcell Parks is happy to host Dr. Patrick Bell from the Oklahoma Monarch & Pollinator Collaborative, also known as Okies for Monarchs! Dr. Bell will be giving a presentation on the current status of Monarch butterflies and other pollinators, and the importance of providing habitat for them to flourish through our gardens and parks.

Patrick is an avid gardener, leader in the Oklahoma Native Plant Society, and board member of the Conservation Coalition of Oklahoma. He is a general surgeon in the Edmond area and holds an MD from the University of Oklahoma and a bachelor’s degree in biology sciences and environmental sciences.
