City of Purcell is accepting applications for a F/T CLEET Certified Officer position to be filled ASAP. Only highly motivated professionals who want to work for an excellent community & department need apply.

Qualifications
Requirements: CLEET Full-time certified a must • Must be an United States Citizen and possess a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License • Must be at least 21 years of age and no older than 45 years of age (Unless already in the Police Pension System) • High school diploma or GED • Must be CLEET Certified • No felony convictions • No convictions for crimes of moral turpitude or domestic violence • Must pass background check • Must pass fingerprint clearance • Must submit to the state mandated MMPI test • Must be able to complete our F.T.O program. • Have good ethics and moral character • Have excellent communication skills • Able to pass Police Pension Physical • Pass Fitness Test & Written Exam • Duty Weapons provided
Miscellaneous Information
Extensive Benefit Package that partially includes: • Take home unit if reside within 25 miles city limit after one year or six months if certified from a department equal size or larger • 80 hour pay period (paid every two weeks) • Paid vacation & Sick leave • 13 paid holidays • Shift differential • Uniform & Cleaning allowance • Paid monthly degree incentives • Longevity pay • “Buy-Back” pay (Up to 200 hours a year depending on length with department) • Education Tuition reimbursement program • Generous medical insurance package
